The inclusion of different dimensions of performance in the context of higher education in our country is relatively recent, and the reasons and methods of this complex process are very diverse. How can one own an institutional space, or furthermore, disrupt a disruption, something inevitably aimed at destabilization, the dismantling of hierarchies and continuous change? How can one articulate the here and now of performance with the distinctive continuity and persistence that have historically defined academia? When confronted with discipline and its avatars, the contemporary demand for discipline on which performance is based challenges the methods used by higher education and triggers new questions in the intersection of, at least, art, philosophy, politics, technology and corporeality.
